Massdam Cabin Questions

Just booked E808 on the Main Deck, ocean view on this grand lady and wondering about the location, is there a fridge (I know, cooler), etc. I looked on Halfacts and no one had posted anything about this cabin, so checking here.

 

Like the ports of call on this April 2015 sailing. We have sailed on the Ryndam and do not mind the smaller ships, just love HAL. We down sized from our usual SS so we can do more cruises in a year.

On the Maasdam, on all the S- and R-class ships for that matter, the only cabins with a fridge are those that have a balcony.

You can rent a fridge for $2 per day; make the arrangements in advance.

 

Since Main Deck is sandwiched between two passenger decks, it tends to be quiet, with the exception of the thundering hooves of kids running down the passageway, on both your deck and the one above. Sometimes you can't tell which deck they are on.

Thanks Ruth, you are a wealth of information. The Res agent told me all the cabins had a refrig. but it does not say it in the cabin description. I will get one reserved, hope there is room.
