The magician used the tag 'IMagician' - His name was Jamie Allan

Paul B has been CD since at least Feb, so no idea how much longer he'll be there. Certainly the 'West End' singer was a 2 night only thing and the violinist, and magician were billed as Guest Entertainers, so guessing they will maybe have moved on soon. Now the Jazz group featured in lounges and the foyers, so I think they may be on a bit longer contract. Also the 2 cellists were mainly in the Ensemble Lounge - music matched the lighting!!

We ate in Blu and sorry, don't have any menus etc, and Casino isn't our thing. Sorry can't help more.

Nice review

We did a walk off in Fort Lauderdale

We kept our suitcases with us -- exit was quick and efficient

We had one medium suitcase and carryon each

Less than 1/2 hr total to car. About 7:15am

Don't know if it is different overseas

Oh I love Jamie I hope he's on when we board next week :)

Jennifer Marie you can do self disembarkation and take your own cases off, when you get the paperwork in your cabin about disembarking just tick that is what you require. You can't usually take on large cases yourself as luggage is left with the porters and arrives in your cabin usually by 4-4.30pm, you can keep hand luggage with you though :)

Please tell me where the soccer was on? Is it in the Casino? If so is the TV on when in Pirt as we sail on 4th Oct on Silloutte and the Man U match is on while we are docked in a Messina on the 5th! Can we ask for the TV to be put on???

My husband and I each have 26 inch suitcase for our 12 day cruise. Would we be able to pull them on ourselves--more importantly are we allowed to pull off ourselves instead of putting outside our room so to get off quickly??

We self debarked in Barcelona and it worked very well. They basically had a 10 minute window for that, so we were all lined up with our suitcases waiting for the go ahead. Once given, we were off in minutes and out to catch our tour/transfer. Our time slot was 6:30 - 6:40am but it was late starting due to our slightly delayed arrival. (Medical issue just after leaving Toulon so had to return). One nice thing was no customs at the port.

Hi, We are boarding on the 12th of December. Does the Equinox have the Promenade Walking Deck? If so, does it go around the entire perimeter of the ship? Also interested in the depth of the swimming pools. Thank you in advance for any info that you can pass on.

Pat

There was a walking track on 14 I believe. The Promanade deck area didn't appear to circle the whole perimeter but must admit I didn't try. With all the stair climbing on the ship and the active tours we did ashore we didn't feel the need.

One pool was about 6 feet deep and the other outside one was 4 feet. I'm not sure how deep the covered pool was. About 4 feet I think. I was disappointed in it as I'd loved the Thallasotherapy pool aboard the Millie. This one was cold and didn't have the bubbles.

The so called 'walking' track is on deck 15, which is split into two sections. It weaves thru the deck chairs and is impossible to use as a walking area much after 7-7:30 in the morning. Deck 5 has the old style but again does not wrap around. You have to go back inside then out the other, or just up an down, back an forth:D

  • 3 months later...
Great news about Andres...don't remember a time when he referred to himself as just "Andres"...always "Andres from Espana"...thinking about him just makes me smile!

He (Andres) is the reason we have booked the Equinox for the 2nd time for Jan.2. 2015~.

I had so much fun with him! Hope he is still on the ship and not on "leave".
