How far in advance can I make dinner reservations for the speciality resturants? I'm on the Dec 28,2014 NYE breakaway ..

45 days before your cruise if you're not in a suite. 55 days if you are.

Actually, NCL changed it, now you can at 90 days and 100 days if u are in a suite. If you look at myncl.com at 100 days and you are not in a suite, you will have the icons but nothing will be available to book until 90 days out.

Yep, the dates were extended already a while ago.

Like the other poster said, it is now 90 days. We cruise on December 13th and I made my reservations a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't hurt to book early, you can always cancel or change them up to the day before. We did that on our last cruise.

Just off the Breakaway and my recommendation would be to make them as soon as you can. Because so many people on our sailing had the dining package, there were many disappointed and very angry people on board who couldn't get into any of the specialties because they had been pre-booked.

I thought you could book MDR (Manhattan Room) 90 days out as well but when I go to my NCL I do not see it offered, only the pay for ones. Is there a special place to look for this, am I missing something? Thanks for any help:D

Ignore my recent request for info,just found out from NCL that there is a glitch in the system for this week of sailing and MDR is not coming up!

That's old info, so regarding your upcoming November cruise, you've been able to book for a while. Just so you know, in case you were waiting.

Like others have said you can always change plans but one can not make plans if everyone else has booked all the times before you!!!

 

I booked the first day that I could on the Epic 90 days out and times were already limited!! I am not a suite guest so they may of already booked some of the available times.

 

A LOT of folks are buying the Ultimate Dining Packages too, my family included! It's a great deal!
