jacmo24 Posted October 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2014 Lots of cabins have mini-bars with cans of coke. We hit those. :) On our Tday cruises there have been decorations. maybe not full blown but there are usually some.

YorN Posted October 7, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 7, 2014 Bars will be open when you embark. Atrium bar and a lido deck bar will be open, others will open up throughout the day.
kona_wahine Posted October 7, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 7, 2014 Dont worry about finding an open bar. The one in the lobby when you walk on will be open and selling cheers. Lido bars will also be open.
coltsmama Posted October 7, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 7, 2014 Though out of Galveston you can't purchase Cheers until the second day... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
okgirl Posted October 7, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 7, 2014 The Lobby bar and the Lido bars are all open upon embarkation. Cheers cannot be purchased until Monday morning. Most of the bars will be open by 7am since it is a sea day. Unless you are going to drink at least 6 or 7 alcoholic beverages per day Cheers isn't worth it. If all you are wanting are soda's either purchase them by the can, or purchase the bottomless bubbles plan to get them by the glass. All cabins on the Magic have a mini-fridge stocked with various soda's and small bottles of liquor.
smwc71alum Posted October 8, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted October 8, 2014 Though out of Galveston you can't purchase Cheers until the second day... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Here is my plan sailing out of Galveston and wanting to purchase the Cheers Program....experienced. Will not be taking any shore excursions....this cruise going to say on the ship and enjoy the ride. Relax.....I will have a couple of Fuzzy Navels with brunch/breakfast. Diet Cokes (3) in the morning by the pool. Fun Frozen Drinks (2-3) in the afternoon by the pool. A Martini or two before Late Dining....Diet Coke (2) with dinner. Two after dinner drinks at the Comedy Club and finally another fun drink at the casino. My goal is to try new things. Is the Cheers Program for me !!!!!!!
