RMS Olympic Posted October 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2014 Does P&O Au have a contact for north Americans wanting to make a booking? Booking on line on the web site concerns me and would like to talk to someone when making a reservation. Thanks
Kiwi_cruiser Posted October 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2014 I think you may need to get in contact with a Australia travel agent or even ask your local travel agent and see if they can help, and see if they can book you on a P&O AU ship, as I don't think you can book P&O AU cruises from the USA. The_Big_M Posted October 9, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2014 Yes, you'd need to go through Australia, calling them if you don't wish to go online.
RMS Olympic Posted October 13, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted October 13, 2014 The responses have been helpful. My agent could not do a booking but was able to offer Virtuoso agents down under to contact. I am surprised to hear P&O attracts familys....I would have thought just more adults. I am interested in the Eden going to Papua new Guinea...the Sea Princess cruise I booked was cancelled by Princess.....so I am looking at options. Bear......how is onboard service different on Aussie based ships? Thanks Tom. If my trip to Papua New Guinea cant be made....any suggestions on ships doing the New Zealand route?

The age of passengers on Aussie ships is very dependent on the time of year and the length of the cruise. But one thing is for sure - they are full of Aussies and Aussies are very casual :) - friendly but casual Barry
