Allure of the Seas 2-in-1 Photo Review ~ October 12 & November 9, 2014

It was pretty good. The Streak in Chops was a little better, but for a basic steak in the MDR this one was pretty good. It was nice & juicy and flavourful.

 

Coming from Alberta, I was expecting the steak on the boat to be ho hum, but we really enjoyed the ones we ate in the MDR!

DAY 7 - SEA DAY

Last day of the cruise, oh so sad. This was mainly a day for relaxing by the pool.

For those of you who saw Blue Planet know how many people were concealed in the tree at the start. Rick and I didn't hide ourselves in the tree as well as the cast.

At 3:30 we had reservations for Ice Games in Studio B. We got there a few minutes later than we wanted so our seats weren't the greatest. You can tell by the pictures there was a pole in front of us.

I don't normally take pictures during shows but we were sitting far enough back that I wasn't distracting anyone behind me and the flash was definitely off. However; There was a woman in front us who was recording the entire show on her phone. That was annoying.

We went back to the room to finish packing, then wondered around for a bit before winding up in the Schooner Bar.

We saw a cabin occupied by a member of our roll call. This is the first time I've ever seen one of the Cruise Critic signs on someone's door

Matt invited up Sam (15 years old) to play a song. He was fantastic and made about $20 in tips. I bet he wasn't expecting that going on this cruise.

Matt's tip jar was filling up fast that night. Even a condom found its way in there...
