Sea Conditions in Asia

Even sailing around Cape Horn is not the same between voyages as I've sailed that several times and it can vary from actually being calm to being rough. I've sailed between Hong Kong and Singapore many times too. The odds are that it will be calmer but when you are at sea you never know. I would recommend getting a room mid ship and also bringing medication to prevent nausea but hopefully it will not be rough and overall that has been my experience.

Only time things can get a bit choppy is in the South China Sea in the Typhoon season which I think is 3 months up to November . Even then typhoons are usually slow moving and the cruise boats can generally plan to avoid them . Best to allow a couple of days before you join your cruise in the port of embarkation and also after your disembarkation especially in case the ship is delayed .
