I had ordered the fruit and cheese and dessert plate through Bon Voyage and it was delivered today, next time I would order the smaller cheese plate, it would have been better if we had the mini fridge, but we got our money's worth out of the desserts.

The swim up bar in the grotto, I sat on the bar stool in the pool, my husband on the other side on land, he said the water was too cold.

I believe it is Taino Beach resort. I'm sure you will enjoy your SB cruise, hope it is a little warmer for you.

We woke up and my husband asked me if I had something for a cold. Oh no. I gave him some Day-quil. Several years ago I flew to London, I felt fine, but I sat with someone behind me who talked the entire flight and I didn't sleep and the woman next to me sneezed and coughed. By the time I landed in Gatwick I was sick. So I am walking around London with my suitcase looking for some Actifed, which they did not have. I finally found the equivalent and after sleeping it off, I was ready to go the next morning. Lesson I learned I always travel with medicine, because sometimes you can't find it and other times it is ridiculously expensive.

 

As someone who does not want to spend the money to go to Atlantis for a couple of hours, the options are narrowed. I was glad to hear that Carnival opened Balmoral Island and that you could use your sail and sign card. We had a 20-30 minute boat ride to the island.

Balmoral Island, looked like it was still partially unfinished, some areas were not in service when we were there. They had a beach, a pool, cabanas, shops, bar and snack bar. We got the option with lunch for an extra $10, but it was a boxed lunch, next time I would skip. An odd thing was with all the frozen drinks, they did not have any straws on the island, people at the bar kept asking for them. The drinks were more expensive on the island than on the ship.

We took the boat back, my husband was feeling worse so we went back to the ship instead of walking around.

DH just wanted to go to bed. I got him a $19 bottle of Nyquil and he slept for the next 2 days, when we let he was fine. I can't do that, if I get sick I feel like I still have to do stuff and can't just sleep, but i usually stay sick longer.

Thanks. We did! Even though the Breeze is a great ship, I hope people will give the Sunshine a chance, it is different, and a little cramped, but I still enjoyed more than some other Carnival ships.

I did not care for the playlist shows on the Breeze, but on the Sunshine both the Studio VIP and Epic Rock shows were very enjoyable, I thought the graphics for Epic Rock added to the show unlike in most other shows. Tonight was the Club VIP with Studio 64 music and people were chosen to perform and there was a dance party afterwards.

The waterfall and the pool in Serenity were a favorite of mine, but the water was too cold to stay in for very long.
