Explorer Aquarium Bar

Is the Aquarium Bar still in place? With fish and all? I believe it will be removed soon.

I sat in it a couple of weeks ago. From what I heard the whole bar was an aquarium a few nights ago when a 40 ft wave hit the Explorer and poured water into it.

It was there for our 10/18 sailing. That was my favorite place to get a BBC. The bartenders there weren't super friendly... Helen from Jamaica finally came around and chatted with us, but the other guy was very rude and had a snarky remark for every questions we asked. I saw he was friendly to others tho... maybe I didn't tip him well enough. :rolleyes:

Wow, that's unusual, because we've always found on Explorer that the livliest bartenders were on the pool deck and at the Aquarium Bar!!! I'm going to miss the Aquarium Bar, with Explorer now gone from NJ :(:(:(

We were on a cruise that got rerouted to Canada instead of going to Bermuda. I think the passengers weren't the only ones who were disappointed. The pool deck bartenders were the worst- when the pool bar was actually open. It was so cold and damp most of the trip. I have to believe it was situation that put everyone in bad spirits. :(
