jgnova Posted December 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2014 What kind of chairs are on the Grandeur JS balconies? We're really hoping for something that leans back - like a chaise or a chair with a reclining back (and an ottoman). Also, do those cabins have a tea kettle? Has anyone ever brought a folding chaise on board? Thank you, Jonathan
spookwife Posted December 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2014 no ottomans. there MIGHT be a single lounge chair that does recline flat. the standard chairs do NOT lean back. you can ask to have lounge chairs but they will not necessarily fit unless you are okay with them taking the other chairs and table out. unless you scored an Aft. then you will have 2 chairs, a table and 2 loungers. pretty sure there is a coffee machine in the room, but not 100% on a kettle( those are definiteley n GS and up though)
Redgrove Posted December 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 21, 2014 Hello we were on the grandeur in November, is 8062. My husband called rcl prior and asked about a lounger and was told although none were standard, you may ask your steward to get one. No problem we had one shortly after asking. We only asked for one -- I prefer to lounge in the solarium anyway. There was a coffee maker and the coffee ring packets and the coffee was stale. There is also a tea maker but I ended up using the coffee pot to make tea as it was faster. This was our first junior suite and the price was right and not sure if we will ever be able to repeat it. Looking right now at the March sailing to Bahamas again on the grandeur. Sent from my iPad using Forums
JKrise Posted December 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 21, 2014 Have had Jr. suites on GoS twice before. Each time two loungers, two chairs and a small table. JKrise
barante Posted December 22, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Our JS had two hardback chairs, unreclaimable. But the balcony was nice. A great cruise. We were in San Juan for a cultural festival and the parade of Christmas-lit boats. I love old San Juan.
jgnova Posted December 24, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted December 24, 2014 Thank you. We'll see what we get instead of taking our beach loungers. j
