Planning to stay 1 night post cruise in this area.

Kind of looking at Anthonys on the Beach to unwind.

Prefer the smaller Mom n Pop's places.

Anything around for food op's or morning coffee nearby.?

Or does anyone recommend a place.?

Looked at Crowne Plaza, seems nice but to big.

Thanks

If I'm looking at the right place

http://www.anthonysonthebeach.com/

that's at the south limit of Cocoa Beach and immediately north of Patrick AFB.

there are a couple of rest's walking distance but not many ... a couple are seedy and a couple are very good. Don't know that any are open for breakfast (unless you have access to Patrick). South walk is nothing until you get south of the base and SR-404 ... about 4 miles

Most popular place in the walking area is Taco City for lunch or dinner .... small and simple but been here 4ever . . .

my recommendation for one night with a good breakfast

Thanks Cap't. Knew you'd come through for us. Thanks for your years of service. Hubby is 22 years retired AF.

If W is full, there are a number of small places in this area .... near where 192 meets A1A, and you are also close to a lot of little places to eat ... we head to the area frequently for dinner (live close by) .... popular with the locals but off the tourist path.

We stayed at W when we came down house hunting at retirement (33 years) back in 07 .... very friendly folks and a nice quiet location. We had the room on the top floor of the main building.

I think this is the area I stayed in years ago. Might of been 07.

We stayed at a smaller Motel right on the beach. Sign said Mrs Clean lives here. I remember this restaurant where they had numerous pic's of sunsets people would bring in.

We went when the Sea Turtles were laying and it was a full moon. We just sat quietly on Beach and watched them dig and lay egg's. Amazing.

I fell in love with the Melbourne area back then.

Then we headed up to Cocoa Beach for their Fest on the Beach.

Learned 2 things that day.

Should of named it Cocoa Beach Breast Fest and

Thong Bathing suits are NOT one size fits all.:p

What an experience.

Thanks for the info.

We'll be in Wed night. So excited. So we'll have all day Thur to look around.

Thanks again.

Mary
