Did a search, this is all I could find. Has anyone gone to this? We're only in NOLA for 3 days and its our first time, is it worth taking the time to see?

Yes, the zoo is fantastic and there is good music, crafts, food and it is beautiful.

We are locals and have gone to it. There are booths set up with special exhibits. For example, there may be areas where you can see an alligator up close and touch it. There will be music and special food booths set up. I always look at the festivals at the zoo as lagniappe, a little something extra for the price you paid to get in. Also, usually good weather at this time to really explore the zoo. In the summer, it is just too hot!
