Need a little help with a hotel in Venice.

We stayed at Una Venezia on our first trip to Venice a few years ago and will stay there again for 3 nights in October. Great location 15 minutes walk to St. Marks but in a part of town where there are very few tourists, and easy to find restaurants where locals eat. Great hot and cold breakfast, full afternoon snack buffet with wine/bottled water, coffee, and desserts in the evening. Staff was excellent and very helpful with directions/reservations, etc. It's in Cannaregio on a canal in a quiet neighborhood and we got there from the airport and to the port via water taxi but there is a vaporetto stop within short walking distance. Check its reviews on Tripadvisor.

Check out Campiella Zen on Trip Advisor. Lovely Italian home from home. Brilliant hosts and always happy to share their love of Venice and give lots of advice. Proper Italian hospitality

Barb x:)

2 minute walk from Vaporetta stop, no bridges to cross and easy access to all sights
