PE Cruisers Posted February 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Were mostly Princess & NCL cruisers, but going on Breeze this Sunday 2/8.Princess has always had mini fridges & NCL has Mini Bars that they'll let remove items & use for your soda & water.I've heard there are mini bars on Breeze,do they let you use these for personal use or do we need to bring a cooler ? wareaglefan Posted February 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2015 all rooms have mini fridges and you can request to have them emptied. I have read where just taking items out of fridge is a better way than requesting fridge to be cleared out. Have a great cruise!
gay head Posted February 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Yes they do have mini fridges in the cabins depending on what type of cabin you have.I have heard that you can ask your cabin steward to empty the fridge so you can use it.But look on the web site or call carnival to find out if your cabin type has a fridge. Rena921 Posted February 2, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Yes there are mini fridges. The steward will empty them and usually puts the items on top of the closet - they won't remove them from the cabin entirely. If you empty it yourself, make sure to let your steward know so he doesn't replace or charge you.
Savlamara Posted February 2, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Do the fridges on Breeze keep the milk at a safe temp to keep it from going bad?
nwcruiselover Posted February 2, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2015 They aren't very cold. I don't know that I'd trust them to keep milk at the right temperature. They're OK for bottles of water and soda, or a bottle of wine, but probably not milk.
BullDawg91 Posted February 2, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 2, 2015 I have read the suggestion of putting cups of ice in the mini fridge to help bring down the temperature. You might try that for keeping milk cold. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cruisecraze96 Posted February 3, 2015 #8 Share Posted February 3, 2015 Do the fridges on Breeze keep the milk at a safe temp to keep it from going bad? I can tell you from experience on the Dream that NO they don't :) found out the hard way when going to poor some milk into the sippy cup the next morning. Now I just have milk delivered through room service at night and then put it on the breakfast slip for the morning.

vwrestler171 Posted February 4, 2015 #10 Share Posted February 4, 2015 I used it to cool soda and then put it in a ice bucket for an hr or so before I would drink it.
