Atlantis- Food

We will be doing the aquaventure with NCL in the beginning of May. Last time we did this excursion, lunch was included (with carnival). This time it isn't. We will most likely be looking for something quick and VERY casual. Any suggestions on must-eats at the resort???

We were at Atlantis last year, just in the shopping/casino area. We thought the prices were really high. At the deli, sandwiches were between $17-20. Pizza prices at the place next door were high as well.

 

We ended up eating "lunch" back on the ship at 5:00. We have no problem paying higher prices on vacation for local food, but this was not anything special.

 

You might have better options near the water areas.

You can expect to pay around $10 for a burger or chicken sandwich plus fries or onion rings at the grills near the AquaVenture pools/slides. In fairness, I thought my chicken sandwich was better than I expected and the onion rings were almost worth the $3.50 charged.

A soda is $3.50 in a paper cup.....however, the ice/drink dispenser is located for public access, so you get free refills all day as long as you can keep your cup intact.

 

The Marina Pizzeria, on the corner of the Atlantis complex closest to Marina Village, has pizza slices for $6.50 or so. They're big, so one of them is good for a meal. The all-meat and -- especially -- the chicken-and-vegetable slices were quite good.

 

There is also a Quizno's further into the village itself, which charges about the same prices as they do in the States (I think).
