Tours in Holyhead and Greenock

Will be on Celebrity Silhouette arriving on 8/14/15 Port Holyhead, Wales

Will be arriving on 8/18/15 Port Greenock.

 

Am looking for tours that will accommodate 8-10 people can anyone recommend tour companies. Do not want to be on a bus.

Appreciate any info.

We are on a cruise in July. I am having a problem finding something in Holyhead. What did you end up doing? Any advice? Guides? Thanks-chris

sorry we never made it to Holyhead so cannot comment

Be aware if you prebook a guide check their cancelation polices many keep 50% if the ship fails to make port

Busybody is the main tour company out of Liverpool and Holyhead. I have had difficulty finding private tour companies - most were charging 500 pounds for an all day tour for 3 people which is much higher than other ports. I probably will go with Busybody.

I just emailed Busy Bus about the cancellation fee. They have changed their policy as of 2017 to a 100% refund if the ship doesn't make the port. From their reply: "our previous policy was a 50% refund. This has been replaced for the 2017 (and onwards) season. " this is from Adrian, Team Busy Bus
