We left early because of the traffic warning, we asked the cab driver about it and he said it was not until 7.

 

After a while we headed to Alchemy. The special was $1 off fruit infused vodka. I asked the bartender to make me a drink with fruit infused vodka and absinthe.

In reviews I heard a lot of complaints of how dark the decor was. I did not find it that way. I liked the renaissance art on the walls and in the elevators.

We went to the comedy show. We got there about 15 minutes early and there were about 20 seats. We enjoyed it, but there was a loud heckler who made some hateful comments. Something about opening your mouth and proving yourself a fool.

 

We got back to the room and received our invitation to the past guest party, our instructions to the Chef's table and the towel animal. The Chef's Table told us to meet at the lobby bar at 6:15 and a health questionnaire. It said we should fill it out and bring it with us. We did but never were asked for it.

We did the Relax on the Beach package which included the rides on the magical chairs, a clamshell and 2 floating mats. It was $40 and good for 2 people.

No, I did not keep it. Could Carnival provide it? Did you get the 25% off a future cruise credit, could you use that? I did not get a letter regarding the 25% and intend to contact Carnival if it does not show under my VIFP offers shortly.

The chef encouraged questions, discussed the food orders, he said he thought the Pride would get the American Table before the end of the year.

After the galley portion was over we were taken to the dance club which was where our table was set up.

Thank you for the great pictures. We sail on the Pride in 68 days for the 4th time but first time with 2.0. Can't wait after this cold cold winter.

Hello , We are sailing Pride in May for my daughters 21st birthday .

SHe is taking her boyfriend also and they both love Sushi

Do you know the prices for the Sushi ? I am assuming they are extra

Yours were the first announcements I recall after the cruise. My favorite was when you asked everyone to keep boarding area clear and then "man in orange shirt who just took off his sunglasses this means you too". Often people think directions/rules are for other people, so I got a kick out of this.

 

I always try to make everyone's cruise adventure a little brighter, fun, and perhaps a bit comical and there are always some (like Mr. orange shirt) who volunteer themselves for the show!
