Cancelling a reservation for embarkation day?

We have a dining reservation for embarkation day that we won't be needing after all. Do I need to call before we leave for the cruise to cancel to avoid being penalized for it? Or can I just cancel once we board the ship? We have the UDP if that matters. Thx.

You're not going to be penalized.

 

Just be a good neighbor and cancel it once on the ship so someone else can have the time slot.

We had no problem cancelling a reservation thru the concierge at check in, no charge was put on our account, I hope someone benefited from the tappenyaki show
