Allure I phone question

 

So my understanding is that if I put my iPhone on airplane mode next week on the Allure that I will not have any charges. Correct? I can use my camera and video camera freely?

 

If I then turn on Wi Fi , I then can purchase an email package from RCI. I believe I saw a $20 plan for 60 minutes.

 

I see that Att has a 30$ passport plan!

 

Any thoughts appreciated!

Yes, putting your iPhone in airplane mode will keep you from incurring any cell provider charges and still allow you to take photos or video.

 

You also can purchase the wifi plan from Royal, but be aware that the 60 minute plan might be for 60 contiguous minutes, not 60 total minutes. Their plans have been changing and I'm not sure what the terms are now.

 

Also, be aware if you are using the AT&T plan. A lot of apps will do data sync or updates in the background without you being aware of it (Facebook for one) and you may end up using more data than you would expect.

Weeklong internet packages on Allure are around $150. Great quality internet. Its the same internet that is currently on Quantum and it is adequate for streaming Netflix etc. I put my phone on Airplane mode and just used ship internet for the week for iMessage and email
