Hi yes we did a seven night Mexican Rivera a couple of years ago :D

What did you think of the ports of call?

 

I also looked into going there but it just seems like like floating from one high rise resort to the next , and being chased by Realtors and Time Share Salespeople.:D

Many of us are repeat cruisers to the MR.

 

Can be cool onboard. Hotter and humider as you go south.

Traditionally north bound is is going to be bumpier because you are going against the California/Alaskan current.

Personally wasn't a big fan nicer beaches here in Australia, hassled when looking at the divers, husbands highlight was getting a bucket of coronas for $6 :p

Our first cruise was Carnival Splendor Mexican riviera 2009 and we loved it. Loved Puerto Vallarta, walked into town ourselves during the day public transport back with locals and trip to an island with traditional show and dinner on the beach watching the sunset :) Mazatlan we did a city tour and show (saw the divers) and Cabo we went snorkelling (Sea of Cortez) guide was great allowing us to touch all sorts of sea life then markets back on shore and relaxing port side. Loved it all! Yes we are lucky in Australia with the best beaches especially where I live but when I travel I love to experience the differences in culture and the country.

We did a Mexican Riviera cruise a few years back. We loved it. It is not all super resorts and salesmen. Would go back again any day
