Dawn March 29th Review

OK...lets start with our pre-cruise hotel, the Marriott Residence Inn-Downtown.

First, the living room: even with sofa sleeper made up, there is still plenty of room:

And it had the biggest kitchen I have ever seen in a hotel room:

And, what do you do when they don't have a rollaway: You improvise! These are the sofa cushions we pulled off the sofa to make a sleeper. According to my daughter, better to sleep on the floor than to sleep in sofa bed next to her brother. First night we made it up in the walk through closet between the bedroom and the bathroom, second night in an open corner of the kitchen.

Next: the suite!

There were toiletries on the counter and in the shower:

Plus the shower had the standard shampoo and body wash dispsenser: (sorry so out of focus)

Nice close up mirror that I used for my contacts:

There are a total of four closets: some have more shelves than others:

OK...now our interior cabin: 12521:

Notice the steps up:

We had the two beds separated and pushed against the wall and dropped one upper berth down so three girls could share. All agreed it was much better with the beds apart, since you have to kind of lean in to walk around the bed with it made up as a queen.
