$ 2,000 difference between a start in August 2015 and another in August 2016 (Italy er Greece)? In addition to the cruise by 2015 there are the Beverage package and $ 200 OBC? Why?

It is the same for anything.

Prime time penalties.

You can get happy hour drinks during a slow time for a discount at many bars and restaurants

There are seasonal rates for hotels and resorts.

Surprisingly the price of gas varies according to the seasons and holidays.

Even the entertainment industries varies the rates according to prime times and slower times.

Sports will charge more for various dates and teams that they are playing.

The logical choice would be to book the cheaper one, but if that is to possible than you have to pay the penalty. That is why they can and do charge more because those times are not popular or available to most people.

happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌞

From the outside looking in, one would have to think that the Aug 2015 is not a very desirable sailing and not selling well, so it has been discounted. Where as the 2016 sailing is too far out to know if anyone wants to go.
