Montreal airport to downtown

I wondered how easy is it to get from the airport into town. We will be off our ship first thing and then have booked a day room at the Crowne plaza as our flight isn't until 22:30. Will be easy enough to travel back to do some sightseeing for the day??

It is quite a distance to the airport. Have you looked for a day room downtown? Probably more expensive, but it won't be cheap to travel back from airport and then back to airport again.

Montreal transit has a one day pass for $10. Cdn. Valid for return trip to from airport to downtown stopping at 5 major locations downtown. Bus #747. Very easy and quick when we used this last year. It can also be used for unlimited Metro trips around the city. These passes can be bought inside the terminal from a machine.
