Missouri travel girl Posted May 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2015 :)Hello, I am thinking of doing HOHO bus to tour city, then bus out to Dragor for a few hours, we are on Regal, leaving St. petersburg on June 11. Has anyone done this on their own? Thank you for any advice. I would also love to hear from anyone else that has done this itinerary and toured on their own. CruiserBruce Posted May 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2015 If you come over to the Northern Europe board, located here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=192 you will find lots of info about Copenhagen. The Mods will probably move it there.

WeeCountyMan Posted May 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 22, 2015 If you book ahead online this HOHO a 20% discount should apply. http://www.city-sightseeing.com/tours/denmark/copenhagen.htm Discount code is Matalan20 - I tried it and it works, in US Dollars and other principal currencies. We used them in Copenhagen and they were first class - make sure it's the City Sightseeing bus line in red.

Missouri travel girl Posted May 23, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted May 23, 2015 Not sure, going to do hoho city tour in the morning and would love to see Dragor! 5 adults, and I wanted to take the bus. Need suggestions what bus station to use please? Thank you very much!
Danish viking Posted May 24, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 24, 2015 (edited) If you are close to Nørreport or Christianshavn metro you can catch the 350S bus directly to Dragør. If you find yourself near Kongens Nytorv you can walk to the corner of Bremerholmen and vingårdsvej and take it from there, its just behind Magasin department store. Missouri travel girl Posted May 24, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted May 24, 2015 Thank you, I need to find a map of the red city tour and I guess use that to see where we will end up as far as what station to use? What about buses returning to the city?

Missouri travel girl Posted May 25, 2015 Author #12 Share Posted May 25, 2015 What do you mean? We have always enjoyed HOHO city tours in other countries? Do you another suggestion, happy to hear it. Thank you
WeeCountyMan Posted May 25, 2015 #13 Share Posted May 25, 2015 Thank you for that. Now I just need to figure out how to get to bus station and Dragor! Checkout the maps on the above website - in my experience HOHO buses always pickup from a bus stop(s) near to cruise terminals. Copenhagen also has a fine Metro rail system which covers the city and surrounding districts. If memory serves - it also integrates with the Danish mainline railway at certain hub stations, although I don't think that is relevant for your plans.
