Closest beach to Hilton Marina

What is the closest beach to the Hilton Marina Hotel? Preferably something within walking distance if not a short drive. We are going on the Independence June 14 for our honeymoon but staying overnight the night prior at the Hilton Marina.

If you look at your hotel's location you see you are on the intracoastal waterway. About a mile walk to beach. I would hop a cab to Beach Place, a popular strip of beach along with restaurants, bars etc. Probably 2 miles tops. If the weather is nice and you like walking, yes you can walk it. Have a great stay.

We are driving down; we live in Md, but are getting married in S.C then headed down to Ft.L. I wonder if Beach Place would be on google maps?

Yes the area can be googled. You can find pictures too.

Thank you so much; i just looked it up. It seems like a great place to relax with a good view of the beach as well as good food/ drinks. That is just what we are looking for after a 10 hour drive from myrtle beach.

Beach Place is a good place to go because they have bathrooms and bars/restaurants, as well as a 24hr cvs. The closest inexpensive parking is about a block or 2 west on the intracoastal. There is also a public beach about a mile closer that you will see, but there isn't much across the street from that one.

Would it be better just to walk if the weather is nice? We don't mind a walk as long as it's not more than 20 min or so

It's about 2 1/2 miles so you would have to walk awfully quickly (i.e., jog) to do it in 20 minutes!
