2016 cruises

Just been looking at Thomson cruises for next yr. fancy the discovery but not liking the itineries. Will they add more options as time goes on or is what we see now all we'll get?

What you see now is what you will get. We are delighted to see cruises from Malaga again next year - would have preferred Dream or Majesty but Spirit will do fine. Have seen Spendour of the Seas (new Thomson Discovery) in port here several times - looks smart but we prefer a smaller/more intimate ship.

Mrs Red Scorpion and I are booked on the Discovery for two weeks in September 2016. There will be a few old favourites like Barcelona and Rome as well as some places that we have not sailed into before like Gibraltar and Lisbon. I am looking forward to it though I suspect that in future years itineraries will become more imaginative, especially with the addition of Mein Schiff 1. It will probably lead to larger ships repositioning to the Carribean which would make repositioning cruises less bumpy.

If discovery is sailing west bound in September she could be home porting in the Caribbean for winter :cool: leave this one to SAILAWAY :)

As I said I was fancying the discovery. Don't fancy Spain. I don't see I have any other choice. Spain or nothing (on the discovery)???
