Going, going, gone sales

Recommended Posts

I think it's because they usurp the domain rccl.com for onboard stuff, so when you try to go to creative.rccl.com (where the sale PDF is posted), that server's not on the ship and you get the error.

Makes sense. That's probably also why I can't go to the main site with http://www.rccl.com. I have to use the full http://www.royalcaribbean.com.

  • 2 weeks later...

I assume that the refresh of the web site has now trickled down to the Tuesday flier - it looks different now.

For any one interested and has some flexibility - the Rhapsody 16 night TA has the Z GTY rate at $399 - now that's a bargain. That fare (or even lower) might be offered over the weekend. Sometimes in the past when RCI did this (offered a really good GGG rate on the weekend before) there were no more cabins left by Tuesday.

For less than $1000, a single could pick up 32 points on the TA.

A much better dollar per point figure than the $450 for 3 extra points on Freedom recently.

That would be a bargain if one is able to get inexpensive or frequent flyer flights.
