I hope all is well now.

 

 

Getting old is terrible.

I am wearing a back brace for a #3 lumbar compression fracture and see the spine surgeon on June 29th.

Also I have been wearing a 30 day heart monitor since Monday and had 3 events in the last 2 days.

That is too close for me. Especially if they make a sudden stop.

I was pleased with this sunset I picked up on the way home from the ice rink yesterday

She competes at UK Level 1 (1:30, 4 singles excluding axel & lutz, 2 spins).

 

I go along to skating lessons when she's at off-ice training, but I'm not in the same league. I reckon I'm doing well if I can do two back crossovers in succession! :D

I used to ice skate when I was much younger.

Also our family doctor's daughter has been skating since she was 4. She is now on an ice skating team in college. They have even traveled to Europe (the team).

I skate Adult prebronze (the lowest level) right now, I test bronze moves next month. At my age, I appreciate just how hard it is. My time limit is 1:40, all half/single jumps--no axel--and two foot/one foot spins.
