Any quiet cabins deck 5 dawn?

I have a great opportunity to buy a group rate but it's deck 5, cat. OB ( ocean view window). Seems there under the casino, bar or restaurants.

The cabin reviews do not help much. Not many there. I searched the deck plans and I just can't seem to find one.

Has anyone stayed deck 5 where it was quiet? Ncl Dawn from Nola

Sorry I can't help you with your specific question but I can try to address your concerns with being near the elevator/stairs. We were on deck 12 adjacent to the elevator bank/stairs. This is a fairly busy deck with the pool and all. We never had any problems with noise due to the elevators or stairs.

For Oceanview, Deck 5 on the Dawn - starboard staterooms ahead/below the casino - hallway above - ahead of LeBistro (Deck 6) should be okay, rather than those that are below the restaurants with some of them closer to the gallery, which are in use & busy all day/evening.

If OP isn't concerned about motion, look at those closer to the forward elevators & stairs as that cluster will be quieter, even the portside ones. There's not much you can do if there are kids & teens running up and down the hallway or grown-ups partying & drinking, and screaming ...

Oh I should add currently I'm holding 5638. I have read a few okays about these ones but there is restaurant above. I really do not want to be by elevators or stairs.

5638 on the deck plan is down a dead end hallway by the medical center .

I think the restaurant above will be closed early enough not to be problem .

Easy on and off the ship too .

I would be very happy there.:D
