Arubalisa Posted October 13, 2015 #26 Share Posted October 13, 2015 We had a wonderful dinner/evening at Flying Fishbone. It is a bit of a taxi ride from the dock but oh so worth it. :) Taxi fare from the cruise terminal to the Flying Fishbone will be $29 each way with a charge of an additional $3 on Sunday or national holidays. Cruisegirl6 Posted November 16, 2015 #27 Share Posted November 16, 2015 We fell in love with Aruba on our past May cruise, so much we took two land based vacations there and going back a couple of times next year. Definitely Pincho's....and Flying Fishbone.

tip Posted November 19, 2015 #30 Share Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) Pinchos is indeed a beautiful setting. We just came back from a land vacation last week and stayed at the Aruba Surfside Marina Hotel which overlooks the restaurant. You have to walk through the hotel courtyard to get to the pier upon which the restaurant is located. We took cabs to town during our stay and they were in the $6-$7 range plus tip. Another one of our favorites, although not as upscale, is The Paddock which is just a short walk from the ship. It is open air and right on the water. The "Paddock Salad" is excellent and so are their rib specials on Wednesday and Saturday nights. Edited November 19, 2015 by tip
Cruisegirl6 Posted November 19, 2015 #31 Share Posted November 19, 2015 There are many very good restaurants, some excellent restaurants and others just good. Excellent: Flying Fishbone (but a bit of a distance more costly for cab) Pinchos (my favorite) Passions on the Beach White Modern Cuisine Gianni's (best italian) Very Good: Carte Blanche Screaming Eagle Barefoot (limited menu) L.G. Steakhouse 2 Fools and a Bull Ruinas Del Mar Good: Quinta del Carman Chalet Suisse Madam Janette Daniels Steakhouse Yemanja I only can comment about the ones I mentioned because I ate there myself along with 8 other adult family members, but we love Pinchos and Flying Fishbone the best.
