troywest Posted July 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2015 It appears that Quest docks at the City Cruise Terminal in Southampton. Does anyone know if there are any bank ATM's or any shopping within walking distance of that terminal ?

TechnoBill Posted August 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2015 If the east gate is open, it is a short walk to a Holiday Inn, just past hang a left and head into the main part of historic Southampton. Lots of shops, department stores and pubs. Cheers Bill
AJCM Posted August 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2015 We stayed at Holiday Inn, looking over the port and Azamara after it arrived. Easy 10 minute walk to the ship. Easy walk into town for exploring and dinners. Also, got onto very cheap train fares from Waterloo to Southhampton - only a few pound instead of a lot. Just had to book a couple of months out. Lottie A Posted August 3, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2015 There are no ATM's in City Terminal ....or any of Southampton's cruise terminals as far as I'm aware, however West Quay shopping centre is an easy 10 min walk from City Terminal and has everything you would need. If you are staying in Southampton overnight then either the Holiday Inn at Herbert Walker Ave (there are several Holiday Inns in Southampton but this is by far the best located) or The Grand Harbour are fine for an overnight stay and if you get up early enough then you can watch Quest sail up Southampton Water to City Terminal. Just be aware that Southampton port authority often changes cruise terminals at the last minute. There are four terminals, City, Ocean, Mayflower and QE2 and ships get changed often, so do check Quest's terminal the day before. Have a look at Southampton Port website for further information.
