Wine sales on Sundays in Florida.

We usually stop and pick up a couple of bottles of wine before boarding. Our flight comes in at (:45 and I was told Florida laws don't sell wine till 1:00 on Sundays. Does anyone know if this also applies to the airport?

Florida alcohol sales hours depend on the local laws. For example, Total Wine in Ft. Lauderdale opens at noon on Sunday. However, in Viera (close to Port Canaveral), they open at 9am on Sunday.

 

So it would help to know exactly where in Florida you are flying.

Signature says Carnival Breeze in a couple weeks so I'd make a reasonable guess they are flying in to Miami or FLL.

I think you can buy booze 24/7 in Miami.

it IS a local issue in FL

 

that can mean that sometimes it is a county rule

and sometimes it is a local town rule

 

and THAT can mean that the rule can be different from one side of the parking lot to the other . .

Total Wine in Miami opens at 10am on Sunday.

And if you go to Public in Miami (grocery store) with a great inventory of wines you can pick up the wine as soon as the store is open. In other words early.
