Air/Cruise Combo Booking

We're looking to book for next Spring out of either Seattle or Vancouver. It'll be 7 day rt, back to our port.

Has anyone had any experience booking air/cruise combos?

Are certain cruise lines more active in these bookings?

I've heard this method of booking is more popular through travel agents, is this the case?

If not, what are the better online options?

Don't want to turn this into an advertising thread, but this is our first cruise not out of our home port (Houston/Galveston), so I'm new to air travel with your cruise.

This is our 30th anniversary trip, so the more I save on travel goes to a balcony/suite fund. 🚢✈️😜

We did Alaska cruise out of Seattle with NCL on the Pearl & used their airfare. It was great. We flew out of New Orleans to Salt Lake City then to Seattle. NCL handled it all including shuttles to & from Seatac. We used their bags program when cruise ended & never saw luggage until we returned to New Orleans. Airfare cost was comparable to if we had booked independently. We were very pleased & would not hesitate to use them again.

Cruise-air, isn't always "great", when things go wrong, they can really be bad, meaning missed ships.

There is a cruiseair forum on this site. Read the stickys at the top. Ask your specific questions, some extremely knowledgeable posters available.

It is always recommended arriving prior to the day of cruising.

Simple to also check flights direct with the airlines.

I am a believer to look at all options.

Look at Cruise Air and also doing it on your own.

If you go cruise air pay the extra where you can select your flights.

Also arrive at least one or more days before your cruise.
