What is everyone's experience with service/charges...my understanding is Puerto Rico is considered local no roaming charges...what about

St Lucia

Antigua

Barbados

St Martin

Thank you....looks like Puerto Rico and St Croix are local data/text....that was what I was looking for.....St Croix was the important one...the Falcons are playing the day we are there and want to be able to at least catch scores if I cannot watch the game.

Just realize while in the USVI that voice is not at a domestic rate, like data and text are. And the data rate is 2G, so text is your best bet. In Puerto Rico, it is domestic everything.

If you have an older CDMA only Verizon phone, you will not be doing much international anything on your phone.

When I went to St Thomas we got service. Since it is still in the us. It might be different in St Croix though. It is a little bit smaller with a smaller population.
