NCL newcomer SDP question

I am new to NCL and not used to booking shows and restaurants 90 days in advance of sailing. The 4 of us would like to purchase a 4 day SDP but I would like to use OBC for as much as possible. Can I buy 1 person's 4 day SDP in advance and book all 4 restaurants for the week for all 4 of us and then buy the other 3 onboard using OBC? Anybody ever done this?

Yes you can. If only one person has the SDP, that person can then book reservations for the entire party. You could then use the obc to purchase the remaining after boarding. I don't believe these terms have changed. If I'm wrong, someone will surely be along shortly to correct me. :rolleyes:

We are doing that, had no problem booking with just one person's sdp and will purchase the others on board.

Maybe you're new to NCL, but you have this all figured out! That plan will work just fine.
