Luminae on formal nights

Hi, I'm asking this question on behalf of my Brother and his wife. Is the dress code for luminae formal like the main dining room on formal night, or is it smart casual? Thanks.

DW and I were on the Solstice to Alaska in July and it was our first time experiencing Luminae. We went for lunch on the formal day, and decided to try it out for dinner that night. I asked the hostess if clean, nice jeans, dress shoes, and a long sleeve collared shirt were fine, and she said absolutely no problem. I brought a suit, but never wore it! I was dressed as above, and no one gave me the evil eye. There were people wearing golf shirts and jeans and no one said anything. So I would say smart casual.

On Equnox we would say it was smart plus. Men not in suits had sports jackets, women a little more 'blingy'. Will follow responses to this as we were in Luminae as it opened, things may have changed.

Luminae is smart casual every night, like the other speciality restaurants. Dress up if you like, don't if you like. [emoji3]

Luminae is smart casual all night and on formal nights not required to dress formal. On that note I will tell you on our past sailing in June 2015 formal was more the norm in Luminae than casual.
