This is my first photo review so please be gentle.

My husband and I flew to Ft. Lauderdale the day before the cruise on Southwest airlines. We had S&S transportation pick us up and drive us to downtown Miami, where we stayed at the Hyatt Regency. S&S charges 15.00 person.

We live in Maryland and we normally travel from Baltimore on the Pride but since we are big casino players this cruise was on the house. THANKS CARNIVAL!

Let's begin with the countdown!

Looking forward to your review of the Victory. Our cruise isn't until November, but really that's just around the corner.

We used SAS after our last cruise out of Miami. Quick and very reasonable cost. Will be using SAS again after the Victory in November. Flights out of FLL much less than Miami.

Thanks for taking the time to review your cruise.

Our SAS driver was great, we were the only ones that he picked up and he gave us a tour from the start of the trip until the end. ..pointing out several historical spots. He even offered to pick us up later if we wanted to explore Miami.

It was raining and we started getting hungry, Miami has a lot of different food offerings but the rain kept us in and we went downstairs to the bar/restaurant. We started out with drinks (they were Strong) and delious.

We ordered wings and they were great!

We asked the bartender to make us a shot and this is what she made....no, it doesn't have a name.

Bayside-is an area where there are plenty of restaurants, bar, shopping, and entertainment. There is a harbor there with some pretty impressive boats. You can see Hard Rock Cafe, the shape alone is amazing.

They had a Bubba Gump restaurant, so we decided to eat there.

They had a drink menu that was on a paddle, get it?

There is a bench outside the restaurant, with Forest's suitcase and box of chocolate. At the base of the bench is Forest's shoe and you can put your feet in for photo ops.

Time to blow this joint! We are catching a cab to the port which is less than 2 miles away.

We are on our way baby. We had FTTF, and we breezed through the check-in lines. We were walking the plank by 11:45a.

More room pics

The room was clean.....this is going to sound weird.....but it needed to be dusted in areas that you would probably avoid. For example, the top of the tv, the top of the painting, the ceiling near the desk, and the window seal. There was a book that somebody left so please make sure you have everything. We had FTTF so they rush to clean these rooms. I ALWAYS clean behind them (steward) so no big worries for me, I carry plenty of clorox wipes and the travel size Lyson spray.

Time to grab somethingto eat.
