The Wilkies Posted October 4, 2015 #26 Share Posted October 4, 2015 Agreed - sounds very practical. Also thinking about lugging round hand luggage in the buffet or lounges whilst waiting for the cabin, there is the need to feel comfortable. Is there really a possibility that you have to wait somewhere onboard for the cabin to be ready? Normally cruise Princess and never had to wait to get to my cabin. Scriv Posted October 4, 2015 Author #27 Share Posted October 4, 2015 But you still take a waterproof with hood, Florry? And yes, Wilkie, there is that possibility, but maybe the new embarkation arrangements may make that history?
The Wilkies Posted October 4, 2015 #28 Share Posted October 4, 2015 Does anyone always take a waterproof jacket with hood? Always the jacket in a bag type.
jeanlyon Posted October 4, 2015 #29 Share Posted October 4, 2015 I took a lightweight jacket with a hood and needed it for quoits. The weather was super, but the first two days, it was quite windy and I needed a jacket. Certainly wouldn't dress up for embarkation.

Mark-Sheffield Posted October 5, 2015 #33 Share Posted October 5, 2015 Always wear a jacket due to having pockets for passport, boarding cards, etc.
Scriv Posted October 5, 2015 Author #34 Share Posted October 5, 2015 That's great. Thanks folks. Love it. So I now have the picture - I don't bring the fur coat, but I do bring the waterproof. Scriv
