Tell me about differences between Indy & Jewel!

Recommended Posts

Just off the Jewel Of The Seas and we really liked the ship a lot. First time on a Radiance Class ship. We didn't miss the Royal Promenade at all. One of our favorite spots on the Jewel was the Schooner Bar and Safari Club area. We always enjoyed a pre dinner drink or two there looking out the rear facing windows in the Safari Club. Little off topic but couldn't help myself.

Sailed on Brilliance a couple years ago and it is my favorite ship so far. I think I like the "smaller" ships.

We booked it. Now you'll have to share your big aft balcony with us!!

I love everything I am hearing about this ship. Scott feels better since I booked a mid ship cabin instead of an aft I liked the price and love the itinerary/ports. Lots of new places to visit on this one!

Thanks to all who are posting....I will check out your recommendations!

Thanks for the tip...just the kind of things we like! A great view and a cold drink! [emoji483][emoji482]

No cost. Unless that has changed since 2011. I think most of the big deal is that the Radiance class is the only class that has pool tables.

Hi

Sailed on the Anthem earlier this year and there are three pool tables in the upper level of the Music Hall. I assume that Quantum will be the same.

However they are not self levelling !! This adds somewhat to the skill level needed and the anticipation of the ships rolling and pitching needs to be taken into account when playing your shot. To be fair not often the ship pitched and rolled.

Now if playing seriously local rules need to be agreed between players before this occurs. What if the black rolls into a pocket all by itself. What if the cue ball moves just before you hit it. What if one of your balls rolls into a pocket without you hitting it. You get the idea. Not ideal for serious hustlers but a heck of a lot of fun. Especially when we saw a chap turn away from the racked up balls to pick his cue up turn around again do a double take as the triangle of balls had rolled in perfect formation across the table and come to rest on the side cushion.
