Cruising during her holidays

I'm going on my first cruise ever over Thanksgiving (Norwegian Getaway). Does anyone know if the cruise lines do anything special to mark the occasion?

 

Also can you rent irons? My clothes always need pressed and I'm freaking out. Thanks!

Most cruise lines will decorate the ship for Thanksgiving. Mainly the lobby, MDR and that area. One of the dinner choices will be a Thanksgiving dinner with turkey etc.

 

As to irons, you will do better asking on the NCL section as the answer will vary by cruise line.
