camel ride- Tangier, Morocco vs Las Palmas?

which location is better or does it really matter?

 

Have you asked this over on the PORTS of CALL boards for those specific ports? You will get a better answer over there.

 

Las Palmas in the Canaries? IMO the other two ports might be more 'authentic'. Be warned that when the animals get up off their knees its a seasickness moment when you are in the saddle. My ride was interesting, but it was in Egypt at a Bedouin camp.

for me I would go with tangier. Las palmas has amazing scenery and vine yards, olive farms, cheese producers etc which are in my opinion more authentic than the camel ride attraction.

 

Thanks. Now I need to find something to do in Las Palmas. It will be in December. Any suggestions ??
