Ourusualbeach Posted November 5, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) I don't really have an answer for you other than to say that most of the info that you will get will apply to those in the US. As you are from Canada you will need to do some searches for companies that offer that product up here. I would suggest googling "trip cancellation insurance Canada" On another note make sure that you have out of country medical coverage. shanley Posted November 5, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2015 The cost is dependent on the length and cost of your trip. Coverage for a $10,000 suite would be a lot more than $750 cruise. It's important to know the rules around the timing of purchase of your trip and insurance. Many companies have limits that the insurance must be purchased within a week of deposit, other have limits about purchase before non-refundable payments are made. I would google it to find a travel insurance company but Also try your bank or home/car insurance company to get quotes. I picked my travel insurance based on getting a deal through my Union.
