I did book through cruisequick. It is still the cheapest I have found so far for the category I have on Galaxy. Now I can just hope the prices go down so I have more spending $ for the trip!

Cheryl,

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. There could't be a nicer place to spend a honeymoon than a Celebrity cruise in the Med. Excellent choice on the cabin, I know you will love it. Also, people on the boards say that the butlers for the adjacent suites can be bribed into performing services. How can they resist a honeymoon couple. We just lucked into 6144 on the May 15th Milli from Barcelona. Thanks to all of you who know your ships. It is the first cruise after the crossing if you have not already figured that out. We've got friends who are trying to book tonight in one of the 7173+'s too. And our best X buds in 6136. What a grand time we are going to have. I just wish there was still a direct flight from Atlanta to Barcelona. That would make it perfect. I will look forward to the roll call it should be a font of information as this sailing is booking very quickly. From what we were told the X pulled a fast one and pre booked quite a few cabins.

Alcpa1,

Last year there was a direct flight on Delta from Atlanta to Barcelona. We did the direct one form JFK.

Cheryl~

Congrats on booking your honeymoon cruise! How exciting! I'll make sure to fill you in on all the details when we get back.

We leave this Sunday out of Orlando. We booked our air through Celebrity and ended up with a pretty decent flight schedule. The only negative is that we leave fairly early out of Barcelona to fly back. I wish we could have arranged a post-cruise stay, but between the wedding and honeymoon David couldn't take any more time off work. Are you sailing the Venice to Barcelona route or Barcelona to Venice? I'm sure either way is amazing.

Well, enjoy your planning and I'll talk to you when we return!

Hi Jennifer...Mrs. Newlywed!

Our June 20, 2005 cruise starts off in Venice and ends in Barcelona. We chose that for several reasons..
I have been to Venice many yrs ago and loved it! Bruce has never been. So, we plan to spend extra time there (it's so romantic), and not sure yet if we will do 1 night post cruise in Barcelona or not. All depends on flight schedules. We are using our sky miles, so won't have too much flexibility. The OTHER reason for chosing our date was due to Bruce's deadlines with his job. We are certainly VERY excited and looking forward to a full yr away! lol

YES, please take good notes!! Check out our cabin (6144) and excursions! I will look forward to hearing from you upon your safe return! Sounds like you are with a great group!!

When you go to the Celebrity web sitem it mentions (in the "special occasions" section) that there are special packages for honeymooners. It says to call to find out more. I am just curious if anyone of you know what they are like? Thanks!

We are sailing June 3. I am going on my first Celbrity cruise in September to the Caribbean. My fiance has been on Celebrity before.

I have been on Princess, Costa, Carnival, and RCL before but am looking forward to Celebrity.

Hi Nancy,

This is my first posting on the new board so I don't know how it will come out.

Albert & Sylvia and Betty & I are looking into the Dover/St Petersburg cruise on May 7th next year. We know the weather will be a little cool then, but we prefer that to crowds. When do you guys plan to go?

We are doing the Med on Millie this year in Aug, when she does her 14 day cruise that includes 3 of the Greece Islands. We are looking into booking our own excursions for ths cruise, will let you all know how our adventure turns out. We also booked the Constellation, July 30th, 2005- we did a 2a room 8161, the balcony looks bigger than the typical 2a, at least I hope so. To the poster who booked a cc class for next year for 4448, that was a great price, we are paying a little more than that for our 2a this year.

We just booked the Barcelona to Venice Oct.13,2005. Got a great price from cruisequick--- cabin 7144 (2B) . Is that an okay cabin? I had never heard of them before reading this board. Is anyone else considering this cruise?

Linda-E, you posted that you have had cabin 6143 on Millie. I know that this cabin is approximately 2 feet wider than other cat. 1 cabins. Does it lose any length to make up for the additional width? Also, does cabin 6143 still have the additional bookcase that the cat. 2 cabins do not have? Thanks.

We are using cruisequick for our next three cruises, having been home on disability for a month, I really researched all the on-lines, rec TA from other cc(thansk again everyone), cruisecompete, etc. No one best cruisequick in terms of price, while I would have like to have a human to talk to, we really knew what we wanted, and what cabins, etc... For the Northern Europe next year, cruisequick was 1000 for the two of us off the Celebrity price and ove 250 less than the next nearest price given us. Will let you know how doc arrived etc, as our first cruise booked with them is around 6 weeks away.

I've never been in a cat. 2, but 6143 is furnished like the other cat. 1s. I believe the length is the same. We just booked this cabin on Constellation for 2005 as well. I believe that we are on the same cruise: British Isles and Norwegian fjords.

Can you tell me more about this cabin. I have it for Sept. 7th Constellation Transatlantic.

Also, I have 6144 for August, 2005 Baltic cruise. Linda - E, I cannot access your picture, is there another way to get to it.
