Hi! We are staying at Residence Inn this coming Friday until we leave on cruise Sunday. I think I read you walked about a mile? This may be a weird question, but I was wondering if it is walkable around there or if there are no sidewalks? We were thinking of going to the manatee park, maybe play mini golf at the place you took a picture of. Thanks! :)
There is also another mini-golf called 'Golf N Gator'. We went there prior to a Carnival Dream cruise a few years ago. (I checked online, it's still there). They have live gators in various sections, caged off of the golfing area. Our kids had fun with it.

Thank you for taking along on your cruise! We did a western itinerary on Oasis in August. It's been years since we've been to Grand Cayman, so I'm looking forward to your day there.

Actually I'm looking forward to every day of this cruise!

Good morning cruise critics, welcome to day 4 aboard the Freedom of the Seas Thanksgiving Cruise.

Today is Jamaica mon and we have no excursions planned beyond walking the shops near the port then checking out more of the ship when it is hopefully empty.

Lets go check some email from back in the real world, deck 8 aft has the Royal Online Center

Lets wander down the Royal Promenade, not stroll nor saunter but wander mind you :)

You can hit the General Store with Ma and Pa Kettle:

Or buy some expensive jewelry or watches right across the way:

If we happen to get lost on the promenade they have guide posts:

A shop if you want to rep Royal Caribbean:

She sure can hold her breath a long time!

The Royal Promenade also has a vintage Morgan Roadster:

Also mission accomplished again

So far we have made it about half way along the promenade. We should be able to see it all before day 7 :)

The pool at Margaritaville looks nice, and I believe it's free. It was so hot when we went in September. After some shopping, we headed back to the ship to change into swimsuits and head back to their pool. It was so nice on the ship (meaning empty!), we just hung out in the Solarium the rest of the day.

Have fun whatever you decide to do!
