OrchidOne Posted November 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2015 Sailing tomorrow and starting to panic about my kids (age 8 and 10) getting motion sickness. They have been fine on short speed boat rides we've taken in the past, airplanes, and car rides.. So no history of motion sickness.... But I just read a post from Oasis that they had rough seas. Has anyone done any research on the weather for our itinerary? Should I be concerned?
cb at sea Posted November 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2015 I wouldn't worry...sounds like they won't have a problem. The medical center will have something if they need it...probably won't!
champagne123 Posted November 21, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2015 Go to your local CVS, Walgreens or Walmart and get THIS: http://www.bonine.com/ It is AMAZING. Have them start taking it TONIGHT and every night throughout the cruise. It is a God send pill that saves all my kids from becoming sick on our cruises. suzyluvs2cruise Posted November 21, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2015 Just off Oasis. Had some wind and a little rocking. IMHO it wasn't rough seas. Meclazine is generic for Bonine and you can buy it in larger quantities at Costco or Walmart. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
