Eurodam Dry Dock

Will be sailing on the Eurodam Apr 2016.

I'm going Back-To-Back for 19 days Barcelona to Venice.

Just read, that the Eurodam was in dry dock in December.

Does anyone have pictures or details of the refurbishment?

Did it go beyond carpet replacement ?

I've never sailed on HAL.

Elite on Celebrity, Platinum on Princess.

Yes, more than just carpets.

They expanded the piano bar in the casino area.

They opened up the Northern Lights disco and replaced it with another type of venue.

They revamped the Lido buffet from buffet lines to more islands to serve yourself from.

They redid the higher end suites.

We've been on the Eurodam once before and love the Tamarind restaurant, more than the steakhouse (Pinnacle Grill). We've also been on her sister ship the Nieuw Amsterdam and her smaller cousin, the Noordam (x 4).

We'll be with you on the 19 night in April! One night pre-cruise in Barcelona as we spent 3 days in BCN at the end of a previous Noordam TA. After Venice, we're heading to Prague for 4 days over the weekend.

Well, thanks for the Eurodam update.

And, welcome aboard the 19 Day Back-to-Back.

Janis & I are doing a one day pre-board in Barcelona.

Then, a one day post in Venice.

Please check the CC Roll Call Board for this Sailing.

Several of us are posting information on private tours.

We're still looking for folks to join some groups.

Hope to meet you on the beautiful updated Eurodam!

Hi, Susan here, sailing March 27 on the FLL Barcelona TA.

I saw photos of some Suites on our roll call, but there has been no mention of the other cabins except the TV s in the Verandah category. There are some recent passenger reviews on the community board ( mostly scary and negative all be it pretty picky).

Anyone out there able to tell what else has changed? I've been on two ships this past year and both were headed for dry dock, and both were losing public spaces in favor of more cabins. So...anyone actually see and experience the Eurodam post-rehab? Yearning for more news....

Thanks.
