Anyone know when we'll learn our state room number when booking a guaranteed room?

It depends on what type of Guarantee booking you have.

 

GTY - this is tied to a specific category, example: 9C GTY. This type of guarantee room is when a certain percentage of rooms within your specific category have been booked, the category goes GTY. This type of guarantee is typically assigned 45-60 days out from the cruise.

 

*GT - these are last-minute restricted rate guarantees. They are for a type of room (not a category) and are generally offered after the Paid in Full date for a cruise that isn't selling well. This type of guarantee is typically assigned 10-14 days out.

 

All that being said, any guaranteed room can be assigned at any time between the original booking date up to, and including, embarkation day.

GTY may show up as late as 30 days before embarkation, but is more typically around 45 days.

 

*GT is literally any time. Once we did not find out our cabin number till we arrived at the terminal (yes, I was checking on a regular basis).

 

You will not be notified when your cabin is assigned. You will just see it on line. If is it assigned before luggage tags are sent, it will be on these as well.

 

If you receive tags with no cabin listed, no worries. If you get your cabin number, just use a black marker and write it on the tags. If not, the bar code ties the bags to you and the CMs have scanners that will tell them where to take the bags.
