Noise cancelling head phones

I understand that for premier seats on Dreamliner the head phones are noise cancelling. Are they any good? I have my own but don't want to fill up my hand luggage and weight allowance if the Thomson ones are comfortable and are noise cancelling. 🎧🎧🎶🎵

No they take them off you at the end of each flight

Yes they are good and comfortable

They cut down external noise so you can hear the music, film dialogue, and cuts out the sound of my DOH ' s snoring.

I've tried them on firing ranges but was never convinced they were an improvement on standard basic ear defenders - never made the connection for audio entertainment use.

They cut out a lot of the engine noise which is useful on a longer flight if you want to sleep etc.

Or you can use noise cancelling device Mark 1 - ear plugs !!!

 

I carry the expanding foam type in my travel bag.
