Over the course of the day, it became low tide, so I was able to easily walk out here to these rocks with Ethan:

Drew and Jeremy helped watch him, in case a wave came while I took this picture. They had just come up from snorkeling.

Little tiny hermit crabs were here on the island. Ashleigh liked searching for them.

Ethan's rock pile or rock "castle" as he called it:

"Hello over there....."

A lot of people hung out on or around these rocks, mainly to get photo's:

He's been asked to pose a few times at school, because he randomly started doing this when I took his picture:

Goodbye Great Stirrup Cay:

Today the weather was beautiful, nice breeze and the water and island was gorgeous.

As we leave GSC at 4:30 or so, I see this as we leave:

We all shower off and relax until dinner time. Ethan passes out for about 30 minutes, and during that time, Drew, Ashleigh, and the family stop by to give Ethan a little present for his birthday. They leave to go to dinner themselves.

Once we wake Ethan and get him changed for dinner, we give him his present. It’s a shark tooth necklace and seashell bracelet. He likes it and puts it on to wear to dinner.

Dinner at Cagney’s is delicious! The steak was phenomenal, as was the onion rings, that I had, and Tommy had the Lobster & Shrimp pasta which he said was good too. The staff sang “Happy Birthday” to Ethan, and they brought out a cake. Ethan loved it, and the cake was very good too.

After dinner, we went up to hang out with Drew and the family for a bit. We still had to pack, so we don’t hang out long, but after more pictures and hugs, we part ways.

Jeremy got one more good picture of Ethan and Drew:

Hopefully we’ll see them in the morning, but we’ll see.

We pack everything up and have our 2 large bags out our door at 10:55pm, but I had to roll it down the hall since I didn’t see any more bags, and didn’t want it getting missed.

The whole cruise was wonderful, and is really at the top of our favorites now. The service, the drinks, and meeting new friends was the best fun of all.

We wake up around 7am so we can be out the door by 7:45am and down at Cagney’s restaurant to meet Ms. Florentina. She arrives a little late, but takes us straight down to get off the ship, since they already made the announcement for the first color coded tag to get off.

Again, we cut the line, and was sent on our way. As we were walking to the customs personnel, we saw Drew and her family not far behind us. Ethan wanted to wait for them, so once we go through customs, we waited outside for them to say good-bye and one last hug. They have a 24hr drive so they were glad to get off with us and get a head start.

We went down to the end of the parking garage to parking spot 11 and 13, to where our shuttle was waiting for us. And of course, just like that the cruise is over. *cries*

Thankfully we did exchange emails, phone #’s and social media information with Drew and Ashleigh. We plan to meet up in the near future when they come down to Florida.

Mid-afternoon snack......this pizza was pretty darn good!!!

IMG_5632.jpg

I watch some TV, and relax while we head out of port at 4pm.

By now, I had a headache so I take some advil. Dinner reservations are at Trattoria tonight at 6:15pm but we don’t make it since I am not feeling well. We headed out of the room for a bit at 5pm, but my head really started pounding so I bring Ethan back to the room and give Tommy the “Handy Phone” since he was headed to the casino.

He calls to see if we’re going to dinner, but I tell him I just want to stay in the room tonight, so he comes back to the room. We order room service from Teodoro which for some reason I feel really weird about. Tonight I order the spaghetti which I learn later is pretty good for room service! Sorry, no pics!

***I have to make note about the room, the location of the room and the rocking of the boat. The room is very quiet and smooth sailing thus far. Tonight though it’s been a bit rocky, but not too bad. The room is very nice! It’s better than I could have imagined. The bathroom has 2 regular outlets and the shelving by the dining table has 1 regular outlet. The vanity has the European outlet.

I forgot to mention here that since we didn't make it to La Trattoria, we were able to reschedule it with Ms. Florentina for the next day.

One thing Tommy said he heard people “complain” about regarding this restaurant was that it isn’t in its own place. If your facing forward on the ship, it’s the southwest quarter of the Raffles Terrace (sorry, that’s work coming out in me) They took part of Raffles, put up a small wall, and then also some 3 section accordion room dividers and named it La Trattoria. They sectioned off the sliding door out to Raffles bar. They were not busy at all. The servers were very nice though and pleasant.

I have included a picture of where the ship says La Trattoria is. In looking at this it appears to be on the starboard side of the ship, but when we dined there, we got off the elevator right there outside of it, and went to the right, so that would be the port side side of the ship correct? I could be backwards.

If I remember correctly though, in walking through Raffles Terrace on morning looking for hot chocolate, I walked right through what is La Trattoria at night. Seems like they set it up each night as a restaurant, and then take everything down so they can use it for breakfast and lunch like it's a full buffet area. Know what I mean? I really should have gotten pictures! Grrrrr!!!

This should be Raffles Court, not Raffles Terrace. Raffles Court is the buffet dining room, where as the Raffles Terrace is outside, with seating near the Raffles Bar.

Thank you, Mrs.C05, for the lovely review! Your Tommy did a great job with the upgrade and keeping the surprise! And, your Ethan is a real cutie!!!

I'd add just one more tip for those going to Dunn's River Falls, beside what you already mentioned (take water shoes!). Also take a little $$ to tip the waterfall guide. And, since you'll not be wanting to carry anything with you as you climb -- you need both hands to hold the person in front and behind you -- be sure to stick a bill somewhere on your person. (Ladies, you know where to put it.) It may be wet, but your guide will appreciate it nonetheless. I don't know if the same goes for Blue Hole, never been there.

Thank you for posting all of this - I know that took some time. Loved looking at the Dailies to see all the fun things to do. And the menus - had not seen them yet so we have enjoyed looking them over. DH got hungry reading them and has gone to kitchen for a snack.;)

We also go to Ocho Rios and looking forward to Blue Hole and your photos from Stirrup Cay were fabulous - hope our day is as beautiful as yours.

Thank you! Yes Tommy did a great job. And Ethan got compliments all week.

Yes, the guides for the Fall's really do appreciate the tips. They get you all hyped up too, singing songs, taking pics with your camera for you, etc.

The guys at the Blue Hole will appreciate a tip as well, since they do help you, guide you, etc.

Lots of good info, thanks for taking the time. It was good to see the menu pics and the freestyle dailies.

No problem! I wanted to do a thorough review of the Spirit since some of them on here makes her look bad. I thought it was a great ship, well kept, always clean, etc.

I was able to finally scan them all here at work and that seems to be the best route. I know people take pics of them, but I can't seem to get a good shot, lol.

The food was really good on the cruise. Granted we ate at most of the specialty restaurants, but I will say that the one night we ate at the Main Dining Room, Windows, it was a great selection and food. The ice cream is the best free ice cream I have had on a cruise!:D
