rbflyer Posted March 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2016 I will be sailing on Royal Caribbean on the Freedom of the Seas in June. This will be my first time sailing out of Port Canaveral. I am considering flying in and out of Melbourne for the cruise. Has anyone ever used that airport? How did you get to the ship? Any particular transportation company? Clarea Posted March 31, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2016 I would choose a one-way car rental. There are several rental agencies near the port that have free shuttles to the cruise terminals.

SteerageJoe Posted March 31, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) I will be sailing on Royal Caribbean on the Freedom of the Seas in June. This will be my first time sailing out of Port Canaveral. I am considering flying in and out of Melbourne for the cruise. Has anyone ever used that airport? How did you get to the ship? Any particular transportation company? We use Melbourne and Sanford Airports for most of our travels. Rental car is often very cost-effective when 2 or more people. But shuttles are available as mentioned. Here is a long description of transport options and a video about Melbourne Airport arrivals with directions to the Port. rbflyer Posted April 1, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted April 1, 2016 these guys have a stand right in the airport http://www.melbourneairportexpress.com/ Thanks. I called them today. It's $49 for one person one way and $10 for each additional person. $69 for three of us isn't bad.
